Although it's not a term you will find on GIA grading reports, it is a common trade word to identify round diamonds that have Excellent cut, polish, and symmetry.
These GIA-graded diamonds have Excellent ratings on these three categories, thus making them Triple X (X is Excellent for short). They are outstandingly gorgeous diamonds that can cost a plus for its amazing characteristics.
Are they worth the price?
They are totally worth it. Triple X diamonds excel in almost every aspect, they are proof of the most delicate craftsmanship possible, giving off the maximum amount of light and fire, while having a mesmerizing pattern and greatly improving the color.
Should you only offer this quality tier?
Definately not: having multiple quality ranges is best, as you can offer various options, and pit lower quality diamonds against Triple X to sell the latter. Offering multiple ranges always broadens your possible customers. For these reasons, it's always advisable to have multiple quality ranges of diamonds.
