Manufacture your products with 2Shapes
There are 2 main ways for jewelers that use 2Shapes to manufacture their products, you can either tsrat from an existing order, or manufacture any of the design you have on your library.

One of the most asked questions since 2Shapes was launched it's how can 2Shapes users manufacture the designs they create. And the answer is quite simple:

As 2Shapes Cloud makes sure that everything is ready to manufacture (geometry is closed and suitable for 3D printing, gem prongs are made longer and overall piece is made thicker) we suggest using our cloud platform to manage your production chain.

There are 2 main ways for 2Shapes users to manufacture their products, you can either start from an existing order, or manufacture any of the designs you have on your library:

  1. If it's a design from an order
  2. If it's not a design from an order

Let's cover them one by one:

If it's a design from an order:

Either if your customer has placed the order from your store or from your e-commerce, you will find all orders that are being manufactured (or ready to start), in the Task module

Inside this module you will see a list of the orders you are currently taking care of its manufacturing processes and the ones that are ready to start being produced.

Your next step will be to click on the order you are looking for, and click on the first stage: Printing. This will open the option to download the model, and if you click on the button, you will see the format options.

Just select the format that is more convenient for you, and you are ready to send it to your 3D printer or manufacturing supplier to start producing it!

If it's not a design from an order:

Want to manufacture one of your designs, but it's not inside an order generated by 2Shapes? No problem! If you go to the Designer module you will see all the models you have created so far (as well as the over 1.200 templates provided by default).

You will need to locate your design and click on its info button, on it's lower right corner:
