Which is the best Social Network to promote your Jewelry collections?

On another blog we talked about how to promote jewelry business through social media, but how can I promote, specifically my jewelry collections or my designs? Which is the best Social Network to do it?

Take into account your business system and each social network focus at the time of choosing social networks. Facebook and Linkedin are good for B2B, and Instagram, Pinterest or Twitter for B2C. At the same time, Instagram and Pinterest are more Visual than the others.  On Instagram the 91% of the content are photos and Facebook, although it is not among the most visual, is the social network with more active users.

On these sites, you can announce that your jewelry has launched a new collection, but not promoting it by posting different images or links of the collection. The perfect structure to announce your collection on these Networks is sharing a Blog, where the company explains details about the new collections and why it is special.  But promoting them through Instagram. 


So, how can you promote your collections through Instagram? 


Using Instagram is as complicated as Open the application, sign up and start uploading photos.


1. Set Up a Business Account. 

You can convert your account to business account to get access to features to help establish a business presence and achieve business goals.  

Go to your profile and tap  >  Tap  Settings >Tap Account > Tap Switch to Business Account.

It is advisable connecting your Business Account to a Facebook Page associated with your business. This will make it easier to use all of the features available for businesses.



2. Are you interested in showing your prices? Enable Business Settings for Shopping on Instagram

To enable the ability to feature products from the Instagram App:

Go to your profile and tap ☰ > Tap  Settings > Tap Business >Tap Shopping. (Only available to accounts that have been approved for shopping on Instagram) >Tap Continue> Select a product catalog to connect to your business profile> Tap Done.



3. Optimize your profile

As in other social networks, the key to succeed on Instagram is to set up a good profile✨✨.

In the description or biography,  explain what your business is about. And make the description short but attractive.

And of course, do not forget to put the link to your website or online store if you have one!


If you don’t have a post yet, because your business is under development. Save your domain in an original way!



4.  Organize your collections. 


Present an organize your collections in an original way. There are multiple ways of doing it, let your imagination fly!  Here you have two examples @vhernier or @pomellato. But… there are infinite ways to do it!
